Sizzer Bill D-Coys started a few years ago on a clear day when there was not much weather. I noticed a pair of mallard just out of range from my blind that were attracting tons of other birds while my spread wasn’t doing anything. I realized that the only difference between my spread and the live ducks was movement. Because my decoys were motionless, other ducks had skipped over them and lit right in with the live birds. I had always tried throwing rocks or dirt clods into the water near my spread to give it some movement, but it wasn’t until I started making motion decoys that I achieved success. My decoys were so effective, and in such high demand by my fellow hunters that I started Sizzer Bill D-Coys.
